Appointed person

Our appointed person is a director of Purity Care Services, they are educated to degree level and has a real passion for Health & Social Care. At the present time our appointed person is working towards the Level 5 Leadership and Management in Health & Social Care.
Throughout their career in the care sector they have had the opportunities to work in various health care settings and organisations including Avon and Wiltshire mental health partnership based in Salisbury. During these times part of the working ethos was to work to a very high standard encouraging the people that were supported to live their lives in the way in which they chose.
After a successful career as a chemical analyst for various high street products their career began in care and support work. Throughout the years of working in the care sector they began to realise that improvements needed to be made to improve the quality of lives of people hence they set up the business to achieve this and to give back to the community that they have lived in for all these years.

Registered Manager

The Registered Manager was appointed by Purity Care Services in November 2017. They have experience of being a Registered Manager in domiciliary care for the elderly, and individuals who have a disability which covered Physical Disabilities, Learning Disabilities and Recovering Mental Health Clients. They are highly professional in all aspects of their work and are able to work closely with other healthcare professionals which include the CQC and other professional bodies.
They have a clear understanding and commitment to the Safeguarding of vulnerable adults, children and understands the importance of promoting equality and diversity, person centred practice and enabling/facilitating individuals to be in control of their care provision.
The Registered Manager has industry recognised certifications and a natural ability to train others in all areas of professional care. They have NVQ 4 in care along with the Registered Managers Award. The last two years of their career before joining Willma Care Services have been spent assessing Health & Social Care qualifications with the majority of learners being assessed at Level 5.

Care Co-ordinator

Our care co-ordinators are extremely qualified in the care sector and have a wealth of expertise amongst them. One Co-ordinator has worked within the care sector for many years and has huge experience in residential, community and charity sectors.
This co-ordinator is the other director of Purity Care Services who has personally supported disabled people for many years along with working with charities such as Marie Curie. Part of this Directors passion has been to support parents with disabled children as they have been proactive with many groups on a formal and informal basis. A good professional rapport has been built with the Local Authority Children’s Services, Transition Team and Adult Care Services.
The second Co-ordinator has the experience of starting as a Support Worker through to Management in a Residential Setting. All of their Support Worker experience was out in the community through Domiciliary Care providers. 
Over the years both co-ordinators have gained qualifications in Health & Social Care covering the mandatory requirements and the Diploma levels that are available. Both co-ordinators are in the process of signing up for their Level 5 in Leadership & Management.
Both co-ordinators also have the training and experience to support out staff on a practical level and have the experience of direct involvement with the local authority which has given them a wealth of knowledge that they have both been able to use effectively throughout their years within the building of Purity Care Services.

Train the trainer

One of our experienced Support Workers has now become our internal training. They have the qualifications for train the trainer in Moving & Handling Training/Assessor, Safeguarding of Children, Medication awareness Trainer, Safeguarding Adults at Risk Trainer, Health & Safety Trainer, COSHH Awareness Trainer/Assessor, Infection Control Trainer, Food Hygiene Trainer and Fire Safety & Fire Marshal Trainer.
All of the above training is part of the mandatory requirements and will all be part of our induction process for new staff.
Our trainer at the present time has their Diploma in Health & Social Care Level 3 and is looking to register for the Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification in Health & Social Care.
All Care Certificates will be carried out via e-learning and workbooks which will be monitored by out in house trainer and the Registered Manager.


At Purity Care Services we are always looking to promote opportunities therefore we provide apprenticeships to potential employees. To promote these opportunities we work in partnership with local further education departments and commercial businesses.
Our present administrator is enjoying their apprenticeship and awaiting the opportunity to move into the care side of the business. By working in the office our administrator is gaining further knowledge of the care sector and will have a good understanding of the infrastructure of the business.
Our administrator works closely with our volunteers who are generally clients in receipt of our service and assists them to organise bookings, promotional material and evaluations of our service.
Support Workers
Our Support Workers always go that extra mile ensuring that Person Centred Approaches are used at all times to support our clients to maintain their independence. The new induction programme incorporates all mandatory training which is provided in house. This gives all Support Workers the opportunity to feel safe and confident before they start to provide care in the community. The training that is provided incorporates

We also look to support our staff to gain further qualifications such as a Diploma in Health & Social Care Levels 2 & 3. Many of our staff have progressed further by 2019 we will have 5 staff members with a Level 5 in Leadership and Management. This enforces our commitment to support our Support Workers to move forward in their careers.

Purity Care Services ethos is to provide an inclusive service promoting independence for a better future. We have incorporated volunteers within our governance who are from our client base or individuals in the local community who are in receipt of care services. We have recently had the opportunity of welcoming our Volunteer Befriender who is a client of our service and is very keen to gain the views of our clients regarding the service they receive.
Our aim is for the Volunteer Befriender to form a group of users of our service who will manage the activities side of the organisation. We aim to provide a fully inclusive service where the views of our clients are heard and valued.
We hold coffee mornings with our clients, family, and friends and will be providing other activities in the near future.
