Recruitment Pack

Whenever Purity Care advertise we use our recruitment pack which is fully compliant with the CQC standards. We ensure that everything is following compliance as when we recruit we need to ensure the safety and satisfaction of our clients.
Firstly we ensure that the Application Form, Employment Continuity Check and Identity Check are completed by the candidate prior to an interview. We usually send out our Application Form via e-mail.
Once the Application Form has been returned we then make contact via telephone to screen the application and to discuss any areas that are not clear or do not match the job description. Once we are happy that the candidate meets the Specification for the vacancy we will arrange an interview date.
When we invite an applicant to interview we request Multiple Identification documents and all valid certificates of training and qualifications to be shown at the interview stage.
As we have a volunteer befriender who is a client of our service we are looking to form a group of volunteers who would in time become part of the interview process. Our ethos within Purity Care is to provide an inclusive service where the views of our client base are heard. We feel that by involving our volunteers in our recruitment and using their skills and experience we can together set a high standard of quality within Purity Care


When recruiting our priority is to ensure the safety of our clients. We ensure that all ID required is incorporated on the day of any interview and if the candidate is successful we immediately initiate a DBS as we cannot set a start date until the DBS is back with us. If we make an offer of employment it is always made clear that the offer of employment is subject to clearance of the DBS.
We comply fully with the DBS service to help assess the suitability of applicants for positions of trust. We also comply fully with the obligations set under the Data Protection Act and other relevant legislation pertaining with the safe handling, use, storage, retention and disposal of disclosure information.


Purity Care Services Ltd, when recruiting require two references from past and previous employers along with a character reference. We understand that this is not always possible. If you are applying for a position and you think this may be difficult to obtain please discuss with us. Three references are a minimum requirement which must include your present or last employer.


When Policy Care Services employs new staff our aim is for us to support our new employee to gain the required knowledge and competencies as quickly and easily as possible so that they become integrated and productive members of the organisation from the earliest possible opportunity.
Our induction will meet the standards of the Health & Social Care Act 2008. All new members of staff, including trainees and all staff under 18, will successfully complete an induction programme to the standard of the Care Certificate, within 12 week of appointment.
New employees may not begin to work with Clients until all relevant checks have been carried out and the results received. When an employee commences work they will be supervised, at all times, and by an experienced employee during the period before their criminal record check is received and employment is confirmed.
Initial training will cover all of the areas set as a standard by the CQC standards which will include COSHH, Safeguarding, Manual Handling, Health & Safety, Fire Safety, Fire Drill, Cross infection and Basic food hygiene. This training will be given by our internal trainer.

Administrator Apprentiship

We have the opportunity to recruit an apprentice administator. Full training and support will be provided whilst you work towards an NVQ in your choice of business admin or customer service.

The succesful applicant will have excellent communication skills as your role will be front of house where you will be greeting and managing visitors to the office. Answering and directing calls from the public, staff, customers and professionals. You will develop the skills required to take minutes and follow through any administrative duties necessary. An opportunity to learn all aspects of this industry as you will be reporting directly and assisting managers and directors in all areas of the business.

This is an exciting and rare opportunity and we are looking for a self motivated, independant, team player who can demonstrate dedication and initiative.

Community Support care worker

Highly motivated, caring individuals required to join our dedicated team to deliver high quality services in Swindon and Wiltshire providing care and support to our customers in their own homes and the community.

Driving license is an advantage as you will be driving to customers homes throughout the course of the day. Care calls are arranged by location to limit your travel.

Hours can be offered around your availability. Continuity of care is important to us and our customers and each individual is assigned their own team to ensure this

 Job objectives and responsibilities

• To plan and assist the Registered Branch Manager in managing the delivery of all required care services within their assigned area, in a competent and professional manner, ensuring compliance with Local Authority contracts and CQC Outcomes • To maintain effective and positive communication between the local office and the Company’s administration team, Local Authority departments, private customers and other external agencies. • Ensuring continuity of care provision through effective contingency plans

Main duties

• Work at all times in accordance with the Company’s agreed Policies and Procedures, and with any further instructions given by the Company’s Managers and Directors. • Ensuring the appropriate provision of care and the allocation of support workers for the Company’s Customers, and for such other Customers as the Company may from time to time advise. • Ensuring that all Area staff receive mandatory induction training, and further training including legislative updates and personal development support as they may subsequently require. • Liaising on a day-to-day basis with Social Services concerning the Company’s Service Users, as required • Liaising with Service Users (and as necessary with their family, NOK and other care professionals etc) to ensure their ongoing care needs are being properly met. • Ensuring  data is accurately maintained and up to date ensuring right to work, appraisal and DBS renewals are actioned in a timely manner and in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures • Maintaining full, up-to-date and accurate records and files of all Branch support workers and Customers, in line with statutory requirements and Company procedures; and ensuring that no unauthorised access is granted to any such records. • Preparing staff rosters, to ensure the proper continuity of ongoing delivery of care. Re-allocating shifts as necessary, to cover staff absences. • Implementing the Company’s quality assurance procedures • Ensuring all complaints received regarding the Branch Office or support worker performance, are processed and closed in line with the Company’s agreed Complaints Procedures. • To work in a way that is fully compliant with the Care Standards Act; and conforms in all respects with the standards and requirements of CQC and of any Local Authority with which the Company deals with in the Area or Operation. • Carrying out such other responsibilities as the Registered Manager and Directors may determine from time to time. • To share in the on-call requirements of the service. • Ensuring all starter/leaver data is accurate within Coldhabour and ensuring all company property is returned


• Responsible for: ensuring Purity care reflects care plans accurately


• Internal: The role holder interfaces and provides information to the local branch team, other teams, plans activities and projects with others and shares information.

• External: The role holder has frequent interaction with external parties; building relationships to enhance the service delivery including Social Services, Health Commissioners and individual customers
